Obituary- Lloyd, Velma

VELMA LEE LLOYD
Mrs. Velma Lee Lloyd, 72, Route 8, Topeka, died Saturday, March 10, 1984, at a Topeka nursing home.

She was born Jan. 7, 1912, in Silver Lake Township, the daughter of George Franklin and Layden Lee Colliean Marney.

She was married to Robert E. Lloyd Aug. 17,1937. He survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Zelda Sally Whitmore. Delia: a son, Kenneth D. Lloyd, Topeka; a half sister, Mrs. Mary Browne, Topeka; two half brothers, Charles Marney and Thomas Marney, both of Topeka; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Rossville Cemetery. The family met with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary.
