Helen A. Lord
ROSSVILLE — Helen A. Lord, 78, passed away Wednesday, January 26,2011 at Stormont-Vail Regional Hospital in Topeka.

She was born May 31, 1932 at Seneca, the daughter of Lawrence and Frances Rilinger Kokenge. She attended St. Peter and Paul Schools in Seneca.

Survivors include her husband Leo N. "Buck" Lord, Rossville; a son, Mike (Laura) Lord, Willard, daughters, Donna (Bill) Miller, Beatrice, NE, Sue Stapel, Meriden, Cindy (Jim) Sweany, St. Marys and Debbie Lord, Rossville; her brother, Elmer Kokenge, Rossville; two sisters, Sister Geraldine Kokenge, Concordia, and Lorene "Peggy" Warner, Pembroke, MA; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lord will lie in state from 1 until 2 P.M. Friday, January 28, 2011 at Piper Funeral Chapel in Rossville. Private graveside services and burial will be at the Rossville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society and sent in care of Piper Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 642, Rossville, KS. 66533.
