JIM LUMPKINS DEAD

Word was received here Wednesday by Mrs. Jane Markham of the death of her brother, Jim Lumpkins at his home at LasAnimas, Colo. The deceased gentleman was 73 years old.

Mr. Lumpkins is known to many of the older residents of this community having lived here about 35 years ago.

Besides his wife he is survived by their two sons, James and Buster; a son and daughter by a first marriage, Jim Lumpkins and Mrs. Nellie Hubbard, both of Kansas City, Mo.; five sisters, Mrs. Jane Markham, of Rossville; Mrs. Mary Brown, of Kansas City; Mrs. Martha Powers, of Topeka; Mrs. Myrtle Coons and Mrs. Minnie McVey; one brother, Mr. William Lumpkins, Captain, N. M.
