Darrell W. Lundin
Darrell W. Lundin, 64, Mayetta, died Friday evening, April 14, 2000, in the emergency room of a Topeka hospital.

He was born March 1, 1936, in Holton, the son of Marlin and Nora Hainline Lundin.

Mr. Lundin was employed by the Jackson County Highway Department for 36 years prior to his retirement. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.

On January 16, 1960, he was married to Mary Simecka in Delia. She survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Lori Anne Hinterweger, Rossville; a brother, Ralph Lundin, St. Marys; and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale Lundin and Georgie Lundin.

Mr. Lundin was cremated. Graveside service and inurnment will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys.
