Obituary- Lysek, Frank
Obituary
Frank J. Lysek was born in Jackson county, Kans., Oct. 4, 1894. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lysek who resided southeast of Delia, until after the death of his father which occurred in 1902, at his home. His mother moved to Delia some two years hence and he lived with his mother until recently when he leased a farm east of Delia. He was married to Miss Tracy Kovar, Jan. 26, 1918. He lived there until his life ended May 17, 1918.
He leaves a wife, mother, one brother, two sisters, three step-brothers, and three step-sisters. One step-sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at the home of his father-in-law, Sunday at 2:30 p.m. May 19, Rev. A.J. Crawford conducting the services, his talk being based on "The Steps of Life."
The hymns, "Nearer My God to Thee," and "Shall We Meet Beyond the River" were rendered by the choir of the Delia Church. He was laid to rest in the Moravian cemetery.
