Obituary- Oldfield, Charles 1
Charles Oldfield
Graveside services were at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Rossville Cemetery, Rossville, for Charles "Butch" Oldfield, 68, Rossville, who died Tuesday in a Topeka hospital after an extended illness.
He was born November 19, 1904, in Rossville, and was a lifelong resident of that community.
Mr. Oldfield was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Rossville American Legion Post No. 31.
Survivors include four brothers, Louis Oldfield, Apache Junction, Ariz., Thomas Oldfield, Topeka, Henry Oldfield, Denver, and Ernest Oldfield, Cheyenne, Wyo.; and two sisters, Mrs. Lois Millenbruch, Netawaka, and Mrs. Martha Root, Carthage, Mo.
Rossville American Legion Post No. 31 conducted graveside services.
Davidson-Duff Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
