Obituary- Oldfield, John

JOHN J. OLDFIELD
John J. Oldfield, 83, died Monday at his home here. He was born February 2, 1874, in Iowa and came to Kansas 75 years ago. He was a retired farmer who had lived in this vicinity many years.

Survivors include five sons, Charles James Oldfield of the home; Thomas Oldfield, Topeka; Henry Oldfield, Denver; Ernest Oldfield of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Louis Oldfield of Ogden, Utah; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Root, Topeka, and Mrs. Lois Mullenbuch, Netawaka. and one brother, Tom Oldfield, Silver Lake.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 pm in the Rossville Christian church. Burial was in Rossville Cemetery.
