Obituary- Catron, Vicky

VICKY L. CATRON

ROSSVILLE -- Vicky L. Catron, 45, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the University of Arkansas Medical School at Little Rock.

She was born January 26, 1970 in Topeka, the daughter of Roy W. and Mary Ann Flerlage Reser. She grew up in the Rossville community and graduated from Rossville High School in 1988. Vicky attended airline flight attendant school in Florida.

Vicky was a homemaker and active in the family business. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and the Rossville Booster Club both in Rossville. She was very community minded and was involved in most all community activities. Vicky loved spending time with her family.

On October 17, 1993 she was united in marriage to Vern Catron in St. Marys. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include three sons, Dalton, Payton and Corey all of Rossville; her daughter, Lauryn, Rossville; her parents, Roy and Mary Ann Reser, St. Marys; a brother, Doug (Melanie) Reser, Delia; a sister, Kelly (Todd) Brown, Rossville; mother-in-law Maxine Catron, Delia; father-in-law, Benny Catron, Meriden; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville. Interment was in the Rossville Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Catron Children’s Education Fund and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple St., St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
