Milton D. Dodds
Milton D. Dodds, 65, of Topeka passed away Saturday morning, Sept. 21, at a Topeka hospital. Milton was born March 31, 1948, in Tupelo, Miss., the son of H.D. Dodds and Ludie Hester Dodds. He married Carol Degan April 4, 1974, in Topeka. He worked for various asphalt companies in Topeka, including A&W Asphalt. He loved working on cars and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cheyenne Morrissey, in May 2008. He is survived by his wife of more than 39 years, Carol Dodds; four sons, Johnny Dodds, Christopher Dodds, Adam Dodds Sr. and Clint Dodds, all of Topeka; three daughters, Michelle Dodds, Dana Woosley and Kimberly Dodds, all of Topeka; four brothers, Dewey Dodds of Rossville, Cliff Dodds, Mike Hester and L.D. Dodds, all of Topeka; two sisters, Elizabeth Falter and Joann Porubsky, both of Topeka; and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sept. 25 at Davidson Funeral Home. Interment followed in Rochester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka, KS 66608-1241 to assist with funeral expenses.
