Obituary- Evans, Marjory 2

Marge was born on January 26, 1930 in Lyndon, KS, to parents Arthur Robert and Gladys May Larson. She worked as a medical assistant, housewife, daycare provider, store clerk, filing clerk at Shawnee County Court House, and as an aid for the Kansas Legis¬lature. Marge married Fil O. Evans. They were divorced.
After retiring from her governmental jobs, she con¬tinued to enjoy the company of family and friends, dancing, Senior Olympics, and travel.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sat¬urday, March 21, 2015 at Parker-Price Chapel of Penwell-Gabel funeral home, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, KS. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions or donations to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675. Burial will follow the memorial ' service at the Valley Falls Cemetery (Farrar-Rose Hill Cemetery) as by Marjory’s wish. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Mary Lederer, her family, and members of Dick Allen’s family for their support.
A celebration of life will follow the burial in Valley Falls, KS.
