Mrs. Verta A. Bottom
Mrs. Verta A. McDaniel Bottom, 75, 715 Forest, died Friday afternoon at a Topeka hospital. She suffered a heart attack Thursday morning, and a stroke and another heart attack Friday.
She was born May 17, 1902, on a farm near Delia, and lived in Topeka since 1944. She was formerly employed at Topeka Tent and Awning, and Hollywood-Maxwell Brassiere Co.
She was a member of Bucks Grove Methodist Church near Havensville.
She married McKinley L. Bottom on Oct. 14, 1919, in Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Adeline Hickman, 642 Forest; a brother, Olen McDaniel, Winslow, Ark.; and three grandsons.
Services are pending at Mercer Fu¬neral Home, Holton.
