Marie Owens
ROSSVILLE — Marie Owens, 66, passed away Friday, November
5,2010 at the Rossville Healthcare and Rehab Center.

She was born October 2, 1944 at Rossville the daughter of Howard N. and Gertrude M. Fox Stiles. She graduated from RHS in 1962. Marie had been in retail sales and had managed several convenience stores.

Among survivors are her son, Thomas Scott Owens and friend
Heather Smith, Tonganoxie; two sisters, Jean (Patrick) Schneider, Rossville and Laura Miller, Las Vegas; a step-sister, Polly Stoner, in Texas; grandchildren, Jake and Josh Owens and Mallory and Devan Smith.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 10,
2010 at the Rossville United Methodist Church. Marie will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 9th at the church where the family will receive friends from 6:30 until 7:30. Interment will be in the Rossville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville Senior Center or Rossville United Methodist Church and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 W Maple St., St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
