Obituary- Owens, Leota

Services for Mrs. Leota Mitchell Owens, 81, 1222 N. Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Parker Mortuary with burial in the Rossville Cemetery. She died Saturday night in a nursing home at Silver Lake.

Mrs. Owens was born Aug. 29, 1881, in Virginia and was a resident of Topeka 23 years.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. Judy Welch of Des Moines, Iowa; and two great-grandchildren.
