Obituary- Owens, William

Kirk Owens

Kirk Owens, former Topekan died at the Marine Base hospital in Kirkwood, Mo., Sunday. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bob Owens. He leaves one brother, Bob and three sisters Geraldine, Ruby Goyette of Kansas City; and Bertha Whitehead of Topeka.

His mother was Nora Mitchell and Mrs. Alma Dean of Rossville is his aunt.

Funeral services were held in Kansas City, this Thursday morning at 10 a.m. at the Earp's funeral home, and grave side rites were conducted at Rossville City cemetery at 2 p.m. with Rev. Stuckenbruck of the First Christian church in charge.
