Obituary- Page, Isadella

Mrs. Isadella Reser Page died Sunday night at Topeka. Mrs. Page was born in Indiana in 1867, and moved to Kansas while still a young child. She had lived in this community for many years and has many friends and relatives here. Mrs. Page’s health has been bad for the past four or five years and she was taken to the hospital last fall. Burial was made in the Rossville cemetery Wednesday afternoon. This community is deeply grieved and wishes to extend its sympathy to her family.
MRS. W. W. PAGE
Isadella Reser, daughter of Marcellus and Lettie Reser was born in Indiana, January 16, 1867. She departed this life February 26, 1933 at the age of 66 years, 1 month and 10 days after an illness of over four years. She came to Kansas with her parents at an early age and had lived in the vicinity of Rossville all her life.
She was united in marriage to William Page, October 16, 1889 and to this union four children were born. Two daughters, Adra and Lottie, preceded her in death. One daughter, Mrs. Lettie Compton of Chicago and a son, Eston of the home address, survive her, as also her husband, W. W. Page. There are also three sisters, Mrs. Grover Kessler of Rossville, Mrs. Zella Elston and Mrs. Arminta McMullan, both of Fullerton, California; six brothers, Albert, Monterville and William of Rossville, Edward of Menoken, Chris of Holton, and John of Dover. There are also five grandchildren, one of whom, Elwys Fawl she has raised from babyhood, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Page was a good and thoughtful wife and mother, always ready to help her family in all their needs as long as she had strength. She was in poor health thru the last five years of her life, and had been given the tenderest of care by her devoted husband. She was a member of the Walnut Hill Methodist church.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Rossville, Wednesday afternoon, March 1, conducted by Rev. Horton. Old friends and neighbors acted as pall-bearers. Music was furnished by a ladies quartet composed of Mrs. Belva Jane Butters, Mrs. Arthur Wallerstedt, Mrs. C. E. Gresser and Mary Ann Hartzell, with Lucille Griswold at the piano. Burial was in the Rossville cemetery.
