Ruth Pearl Page
ROSSVILLE — Ruth Pearl Page, 92, Rossville, died Monday, Dec. 25, 1995, at her home.

She was born Aug. 15, 1903, near Willard, the daughter of Arizona Lincoln and Mary Jane “Jennie" Lyttle Rogers. She was graduated from Rossville High School in 1921 and received a teaching certificate from Emporia State College.

She spent most of her life in Rossville She was a teacher at Willard Grade School several years and worked at the F.W. Woolworth variety store in Topeka several years. She also worked at Boyd, Rawling and House Grocery in Rossville.

Mrs. Page was a member of the United Methodist Church in Rossville and a 50-year member of Loyal Chapter No 176 of Order of Eastern Star in Silver Lake. She also was a member of the Ladies Literary Club in Rossville.

She was married to Ralph Franklin Page Dec. 26, 1924, in Topeka. He died Sept. 7, 1992.

Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Keller, Rossville; a son, Dean Page, Rossville, a sister, Helen F. Barnett, Topeka; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Rossville. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Mrs. Page will lie in state from 3:30 to 8 p.m. today at the United Methodist Church in Rossville where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m.
