Obituary- Paine, Darlene 1

Darlene M. Paine
Darlene M. Paine, 68, Rossville, died Friday, May 18, 2001, at a Topeka hospital.

She was born December 16, 1932, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Theodore and Dorothy Mendenhall Cottrell.

She grew up in the Wichita and Ellsworth areas, and was graduated from Ellsworth High School. Most of her adult life, she had lived in the Rossville community.

On November 3, 1950, she married Edward E. Paine at Ellsworth. He died February 11, 1988.

Survivors include four sons, Edward P. Paine and Mark L. Paine, both of Topeka, Terry L. Paine, Wamego, and Jonny E. Paine, Maple Hill; a daughter, Tracy A. Paine, Topeka; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Burial was Saturday in the Rossville Cemetery. A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Monday at Piper Funeral Chapel in Rossville.
