Rosemary Pauly
St. Marys -- Rosemary Pauly, 60, died Friday, March 17, 2006 at Stormont Vail Regional Medical Center in Topeka.

She was born March 16,1946, at Topeka, the daughter of John T.
and Catherine V. O'Connor Jacobson. She grew up in the Rossville community and graduated from Rossville High School in 1964. As a child, Rosemary was a Polio Pioneer, helping with the testing of the vaccine.

Rosemary had worked for Southwestern Bell in Topeka for several years. She had worked for the St. Marys Veterinary Clinic for six years and had worked for USD #321 in the Special Services Department. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys and a member of the ladies circle helping with the annual Church Picnic for many years. She also was a C.C.D. teacher for the religious education department at the church. She had been a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. Rosemary had been active in the St. Marys Historical Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Billy and John.

Rosemary and Ronald E. Pauly were united in marriage on October 16,1965 in St. Marys. He survives.

Other survivors include a son, Luke (Iris) Pauly, Wichita; daughters, Lori (Bill) Faerber, Salina and Shannon Pauly, St. Marys; brothers, Robert Jacobson, Topeka, and Donald Jacobson, Rossville; sisters, Betty Lambotte, rural Rossville, Kay Wild, St. Marys and Dorothy Lloyd Rossville; grandchildren, David, Sarah, Jacob, Isiaah, Elizabeth, Katie, Rachel, Peter and Sage.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. She will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. Tuesday it Piper Funeral Home where there will be a Vigil Service and rosary at 7:00 P.M. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys.

Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and sent in care of the funeral home.
