Obituary- Penaz, Elmer 1

We wish to express our heart-felt thanks and deepest appreciation to the teachers and pupils of the Delia high school, and of the grade school, to the flower girls and to the pallbearers, to the members of the Masonic and the Z.C.B.J. lodges, and to the many friends who have lightened our grief by their beautiful floral gifts, and by their many deeds of kindness during the hours of illness and in the departure of our beloved son and brother.

In loving memory of our dear son and brother, Elmer W. Penaz, who passed away 15 years ago September 10, 1935.
From this world of pain and sorrow
To the land of peace and rest,
God has taken you, dear son,
Where you’ve found eternal rest.
Sleep on, dear son, and take thy rest.
We loved you so, but God loved you best,
Sadly missed by Mother, Father and Sister.

Elmer William Penaz, 23, of Delia died Monday morning in St. Francis hospital.


In memory of our son and brother who passed away 16 years ago, September 10, 1935.
We have only your memory, dear son,
To remember our whole life thru;
But the sweetness will linger forever
As we treasure the image of you.
Our lips cannot tell you we miss you;
Our heart cannot tell what to say—
God alone knows how we miss you
In a home that is lonesome today.
