Obituary- Redmon, Homer 2

Homer Redmond [sic]
HOLTON—Services for Homer Redmon, 66, Mayetta, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mercer Funeral Home here with burial in Delia Cemetery. He died Wednesday at a Mayetta hospital.

A retired farmer, Mr. Redmon had lived in the Mayetta community all his life. He was born April 21, 1900 near Mayetta.

He was a member of Modern Woodmen of America.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Redmon, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Bryant, 1741 Hudson, Mrs. Monica Olson, 507 Menninger Road, Mrs. Margaret McGranahan, Route 6, all in Topeka, and Mrs. Anna Lou Layne, Anderson, Calif.; nine sons, John and Billy Redmon, both of the home; Edward Redmon, 2011 Lower Silver Lake Road, Lloyd Redmon, 1912 N. Winter, Donald Redmon, 1944 N. Winter, all in Topeka, Carl Redmon. Wichita, Theron Redmon, Chicago, Gene Redmon, Kansas City, Mo., and Lee Redmon, stationed with the U.S. Navy, Groton, Conn.; 17 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Joe Barney, Hoyt, and one brother, Lewis Redmon, Carlin, Nev.
