John Robert Redmon
HOLTON — John Robert Redmon, 49,
Kansas City, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 9,
1997, at a Kansas City, Mo., hospital.

He was born Feb. 3,1948, in Holton, the son of Homer and Mary Carmichael Redmon. He graduated from Mayetta High School in 1966, and he had lived in the Kansas City area since 1973.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Redmon, Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Ann Lou Lahey, Anderson, Calif., and Mary Ann Bryant and Monica Olson, both of Topeka; and eight brothers, Carl Redmon, Wichita; Theron Redmon, Chicago; Gene Redmon and Lee Redmon, both of Kansas City, Mo.; Billy Redmon, Valley Falls; Edward Redmon and Lloyd Redmon, both of Topeka; and_Don Redmon, Rossville.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be at the Delia Cemetery. Mr. Redmon will lie in state after noon today and all day Monday at the funeral home where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation and sent in care of the funeral home.




John Robert Redmon
John Robert Redmon, 49, Kansas City, Mo., died Saturday, August 9,1997, at a Kansas City, Mo. hospital.

Relatives and friends met from 7 to 8 p.m. at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. His service was at 10:00 Tuesday (this morning) at the funeral home; burial was in the Delia Cemetery.
