Obituary- Renfro, Erma 1

Erma L. Renfro
Erma L. Renfro, 76, Topeka, passed away Nov. 12, 2012, at Rossville Health Care Center. Erma was born June 1,1936, in Holton, the daughter of David and Gladys (Vaught) Perkins. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1954. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church.

Erma married Robert “Bob” Renfro on Feb. 4, 1955, in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include their children and spouses, Michael and Kathleen Renfro of Citrus Heights, Calif., Jan Essary of Phoenix, Ariz., Alan Renfro of Tempe, Ariz., Dean and Patty Renfro of Ida Grove, Iowa, Brian and Cheri Renfro of Silver Lake, Julie and Doug Miller of Milford, Utah, and Cory and Diane Renfro of Milan, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Funeral services were planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at St. Johns Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to St. Johns Lutheran Church, 901 SW Fillmore, Topeka, KS 66606; Alzheimer’s Association, 4125 SW Gage Center Dr., LL-15, Topeka, KS 66604; or Grace Hospice, 3715 SW 29th, Suite 100, Topeka, KS 66614.
