Obituary- Reser, Benjamin
BENJAMIN F. RESER DEAD
Benjamin Franklin Reser, 65, died at his home, 2115 North Buchanan street, early Friday morning. He was born in Aurora, Ill., October 1, 1867, and had made his home in Shawnee county 60 years, living in the vicinity of Rossville all that time until a few months ago, when he re moved from his farm north of Ross¬ville.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eliza Reser; two sons, Will Reser, Delia, and Everett Reser, Rossville; a daughter, Mrs. Agnes Besta, Delia; four brothers, Rolia, Zack, Wyatt and John Reser, Topeka; three sisters: Mrs. Melvina Mason, and Mrs. Mollie James, Topeka; and Mrs. Prudence Shenk, Rossville and 10 grandchild¬ren.
Funeral services were held at Penwell’s chapel Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev. C. K. Thomas, pastor of the Rossville Christian church. Music was furnished by Mrs. A. B. Jamieson and Mrs. Albert Reser of this city.
Burial was in Rossville cemetery.
