Obituary- Reser, Dorothy
Mrs. Dorothy Reser
Mrs. Dorothy E. Reser, 62, 3131 C. 21st, was found dead Friday. Dr. C.G. Hermann, deputy district coroner, who performed an autopsy, said Mrs. Reser died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
He said Mrs. Reser was found lying behind a car in a garage with her head near the end of the car’s exhaust pipe. The motor of the car was running when she was found, he said.
Mrs. Dorothy Reser was born Feb. 8, 1907, at Horton and had lived in Topeka since 1922. She attended Kansas State Univer-sity at Manhattan and was graduated from Washburn University.
She taught in schools at Delia and later was employed in Santa Fe Railway offices in Topeka. She was a member of the Christian Church.
Her husband, Harry Reser, died in 1963.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. William Duff, 2115 Harrison, and Mrs. Hattie Gerber, Horton; and a brother, Ralph H. Wallingford, Fresno, Calif.
Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.
