Obituary- Reser, George
GEORGE M. RESER
George M. Reser was born March 27, 1892, in Rossville, Kansas, and died September 29, 1950, in the To¬peka State Hospital.
He was the beloved son of Alice and Zack Reser, whom with one sis¬ter, Edith, preceded him in death.
George was reared to manhood in the Rossville community and followed in the footsteps of his father and to become a prosperous farmer of the community. He was a boy of keen judgment, honest and believed in an upright life.
He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the American Expedition¬ary forces in the Medical Corps, as an attendant in the American hos¬pital at LaTreport, France. When returning he had developed a spine condition causing him to be paralyzed in the limbs and a mental sickness.
He leaves to mourn his loss a faith¬ful and devoted niece, Vida Reser Fierston of Chicago. 111.
Funeral services were held at Par¬ker’s Mortuary in Topeka, Monday, September 2, at 10.30 a. m. and burial was in Rossville Cemetery.
