Obituary- Reser, Laurel
LAUREL PEARL RESER
Laurel Pearl Reser, 54, wife of Wm. L. Reser, died at her home at 564 Burr Street, in Topeka last Thursday January 29, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Reser was a native of Rossville township, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mell Wood. She was born July 12, 1894 and had been a resident in this vicinity most of her life. She was a member of the United Brethren [sic] Church.
She was united in marriage to Wil¬liam L. Reser March 29, 1911, and to this union nine children were born.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Fulton, Gilroy, Calif., and Mrs. Nadine McMillan, Topeka; and six sons, Randall, Donald and Robert of Topeka; Milford and Ben of Silver Lake and Harold of Lecompton. One child died in infancy.
Other survivors include eleven grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Ethel Rezac, St. Marys, Kan., two brothers Prank Wood, Rossville, and Riley Wood, Samuels, Idaho.
Funeral services were held at the Penwell Chapel, Topeka, Monday, Feb. 2nd at 1:30. Burial was in the Ross¬ville Cemetery. The pallbearers were her six sons.
