John Richardson Sr.
John B. Richardson Sr., 74, Rossville, died early today at a local hospital.

lie was born Dec. 11,1898, at Wetmore and had lived in Topeka since 1926. He had retired after 36 years employment with the city of Topeka, 18 years with the Water Dept. and 18 with the Meter Dept.

He attended Highland Park Nazarene Church.

He was married June 25, 1924, at Concordia, to Leona Mosher. She survives at the home.

Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by. a son, John B. Richardson Jr. in 1970.

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Helen Martinek, Rossville, and Mrs. LaVon Paxton, 634 Warren, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Ebelmesser, Adrian, Mo.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, with burial in Rossville Cemetery. The family will meet friends at the mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may-be made to Highland Park Nazarene Church Building Fund.
