WILLIAM L. ROMICK
William Laurence Romick, 86, Maple Hill, died Tuesday, July 1, 1986, at the Rossville Valley Manor.

Mr. Romick was an engineer and had owned and operated a waterfront marina at Mount Clemens, Mich. He returned to Maple Hill several years ago.

He was born June 19, 1900, at Maple Hill, the son of William McCollough and Mary McClelland Romick. He was graduated from Kansas State Agricultural College at Manhattan. He spent most of his life at Mount Clemens, Mich.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Wilmary Woebbeking and Alice Louise Romick, both of Mount Clemens, Mich.; two sons, Carl Romick, Mount Clemens, Mich., and Burl Romick, Portland, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. Edna Law, Liberal; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Romick donated his body to the University of Kansas School of Medicine for research. Verschelden Funeral Home of St. Marys was in charge of arrangements.
