Obituary- Roush, Lucy

Lucy M. Roush

Lucy M. Roush, 90, Topeka, died Tuesday, December 23, 1997, at a Topeka nursing home.

She was born February 3, 1907, in Rossville, the daughter of Marion and Alice Franklin Lasswell. She was a lifelong resident of Shawnee County and had lived in Topeka since 1921. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, Mo.

Mrs. Roush was a member of Central Congregational Church and the Stormont-Vail Auxiliary.

She married Walter E. Roush on January 25, 1926, in Jefferson City, Mo. He died in 1967.

No immediate family members survive.

A memorial service was held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Brewster Place in Topeka. Inurnment at the Rossville Cemetery was private.

Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, Topeka, was in charge of arrangements.
