Obituary- Rundus, Josephine 2

She married Benjamin A. Rundus on August 3, 1929. He was a minister serving the Presbyterian Church at Miltonvale, Kansas. They went on to Kipp, and then Unadilla, Nebr. In 1938, they began serving Czech churches, first in Winnepeg, Canada, then Eagle, S.D., Omaha, Nebr., Tabor and Tyndall, S.D. They had six children.

In 1948 they returned to Kansas, serving in Rossville, Delia, Scottsville, Jamestown and Delphos. They retired to Munden in 1972.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1976, a son, Benjamin Herbert in 1960, and daughter, Faith Bishop, in 1985.

Survivors include two daughters, Josephine Strnad, and Anita Strnad, Munden; two sons, Wesley Rundus, Munden, and Dr. Timothy Rundus, Bonner Springs; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Zion Evangelical Church, Munden, on Tuesday, August 20, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Onesimus Rundus and Pastor Jim Woldhuis officiating.

Burial was in Tabor Cemetery.
