Miss Nellie Countryman was in Topeka Wednesday to attend the funeral service of Ike Schermerhorn held at the Parker Mortuary.

Isaac P. Schermerhorn, 68, of 1937 North Tyler died Saturday in a Topeka hospital.

He was born in Hoyt, May 18, 1882, and was a retired road builder. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Anna K. Schermerhorn; a son, Virgil of Topeka; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson of Salina and Mrs. Bernice Dolman of Bossier, La.; a sister, Mrs. Hettie Foster of Elmont and two grandchildren.
