Obituary- Schroepfer, Frank

Frank A. Schroepfer

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Catholic Church for Frank A. Schoepfer, 82, 2706 Belmont, who died Thursday in a Topeka hospital after a long illness.

He was born Nov. 16, 1891, in Wamego, and had lived in Topeka for 50 years. He retired from Beatrice Foods Co. where he had been supply depot supervisor for 30 years.

He was a member of Assumption Church and Knights of Columbus, council No. 534.

He was married to Lucille Grace on June 26, 1923, at Delia. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Bernard F. Schroepfer, Leawood; a brother, William Schroepfer, Independence, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Proetz, and Marie Schroepfer, both of St. Louis, and three grandchildren.

Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Schroepfer will lie in state at Brennan's Funeral Home from 2 until 9 p.m. Friday, where the rosaries will be said by the parish at 7 p.m., Daughters of Isabella at 7:30 p.m. and Knights of Columbus at 8 p.m.
