Obituary- Seele, Thelma 2

Thelma T. Seele
WAMEGO - Thelma T. Seele, 86, Wamego, died Monday, July 29, 1996, at a Wamego hospital.

She and her husband farmed south of Belvue in the Wells Creek area until moving to Wamego in 1948. She had lived the past two years at Valley Vista Good Samaritan Center, Wamego.

She was born May 1,1910, near Belvue, the daughter of John and Mary Ann Mullen Lytle. She attended rural Belvue schools.

She was a member of the Kaw Social Club, Farmers Union, and St. Bernard's Church and Altar Society, Wamego.

She married Frank Seele on May 16, 1928, at St. Marys. He died Oct. 5, 1994.

Survivors include three daughters, Maxine Harris, Raytown, Mo., LaDonna Herman, Wamego, and Patricia Johnson, Tekonsha, Mich.; a son, Alvin Seele, Wamego; a brother, Clint Lytle, Rossville; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the R.J. Evans Mortuary, Wamego. Burial will be in the Wamego City Cemetery. Friends may visit from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary, where the family will greet relatives and friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Valley Vista Good Samaritan Center, Wamego.
