John J. Seitz
John J. Seitz, 88, St. Marys, formerly of Delia, died Saturday, March 16, 1991, at a Topeka hospital.

He was born September 15, 1902, in St. Marys, the son of John and Mary Kramer Seitz.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Lions Club, Delia; and an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus Council #657 in St. Marys.

He was married to Alice Marie Cerny April 19, 1928, in Delia. She died August 30, 1969.

Survivors include two sons, Don Seitz and Jack Seitz, both of Topeka; two brothers, Clarence Seitz, Brooks, Alberta, Canada, and William V. Seitz, St. Marys; three sisters, Tillie McNeive, St. Marys, Regina Chesney, Albuquerque, N.M., and Loretta Doll, Topeka; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys. Mrs. Seitz will lie in state after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Delia.
