Obituary- Siegle, Harvey 2
Harvey Ferdinand Siegle
AUBURN, Wash. – Graveside services were here Friday for Harvey Ferdinand Siegle, 73, Kennewick, Wash., formerly of Jackson County, Kan. He died Monday, Aug. 26, at a Kennewick medical center.
Mr. Siegle was a truck driver for Darigold in Oregon and Washington before he retired in 1973. He moved in 191 from Kansas to Oregon where he was a wheat farmer.
He was born Nov. 11, 1911, at Fresno, Texas, the son of Carl and Ruth Snyder Siegle. He was spent his early life in Jackson County, Kan., where he attended schools. After he retired he was graduated with a certified public accountants degree from Santa Ana College, Santa Ana, Calif.
Mr. Siegle was a member of Garden Grove, Calif., Community Church, and Tri-City Chaplaincy at Kennewick and was an honorary member of Teamsters Union Local No. 672.
He was married to Edna Margaret McCreight in 1935 in Kansas. Shed preceded him in death. He was married to Myra Kalveart in 1963. She died in 1983.
Survivors included five daughters, Mrs. Ann Mothell and Marcia Siegle, both of Seattle; Mrs. Voris Marsden, Bremerton; Mrs. Greta Foley, Kennewick; Mrs. Randi Wilcox, Austin, Texas; and Mrs. DeDe Lucas, Waco, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Dora Ross, Delia, Kan.; a brother, John D. Siegle, Yorktown, Va.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were Thursday at Brownsville United Methodist Church in Bremerton. Contributions may be made to the Harvey Siegle Memorial Fund and sent in care of Voluntary Action Center, 205 N. Dennis, Kennewick, Wash., 99336. Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick was in charge of arrangements.
