Regina M. “Sally” Simecka
Regina M. “Sally” Simecka, 84, Delia, died Tuesday, July 19, 1994, at a Topeka hospital.

She was born June 27, 1910 in St. Marys, the daughter of John and Mary Brunin Dohrman. She lived most of her life in the Delia area.

For 18 years, Mrs. Simecka was a nurse’s aide at the St. Marys Manor. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Delia.

On April 7, 1934, she was united in marriage to James E. Simecka in St. Marys. He survives.

Other survivors include three sons, James L. Simecka, St. Marys, Gerald R. Simecka, Topeka, and Edward Simecka, St. Marys; seven daughters, Mary Barr, Jo Endicott, Pat Skaggs, and Ginger Lynch, all of Chanute, Judy Kizzire, Lawson, Mo., Dolores Kennedy, Topeka, and Barbara Froelich, Pittsburg; one brother, Lee Dohrman, St. Marys; four sisters, Germaine Durow and Katherine Reilly, Topeka, Margaret Tomson and Dolores Floersch, Delia; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Verschelden Chapel, St. Marys. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Church, St. Marys; interment was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Stanislaus Building Fund, Rossville, Ks. 66533.
