Obituary- Bond, Elida
Elida Bond
Death called for a second time within a week on residents in a block on Spruce street, when Mrs. Elida Bond passed away Wednesday shortly before noon. She was brought home Sunday from a Topeka hospital.
Her health had been failing for several months and a long stay in the hospital failed to restore her health.
Mrs. Bond was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Shearer had been a resident in this community for sixty years. She came here with her parents at the age of three. She was born at Port Huron, Michigan, August 22, 1873.
Surviving her are an only daughter, Irene, and a sister, Mrs. Morris Bond of this city.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the home in Rossville and burial will vein Rossville cemetery.

Elida Bond - died June 16, 1937. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Cless and son Gene, of Hutchinson, arrived in Rossville, Friday, to attend the funeral of Mrs. Elida Bond. Mr. Cless returned Friday evening. Mrs. Cless and Gene remained for a week's visit with Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Cless. June 24, 1937.
Joe Campbell of Manhattan came to Rossville, Wednesday, called by the death of Mrs. Elida Bond.
Mrs. Charley Zimek and Mrs. John Glynn of St. Marys are in Rossville today called by the death of their aunt, Mrs. Elida Bond
