Obituary- Sneller, Mildred

Mildred Frederica Sneller
Mildred Frederica Sneller, 92, Topeka, died Monday, Sept. 13, 1993, at a Topeka retirement home.

Mrs. Sneller worked for Hartford Insurance Co., 27 years before she retired in 1963.

She was born Aug. 19, 1901, on the Mulvane Ranch at Rossville, the daughter of Fred Pettit and Amy Ross McCollough. She was graduated from Rossville High School and Strickler's School of Business in Topeka. She lived in Topeka more than 70 years.

Mrs. Sneller was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Rossville.

She was married to Claud B. Sneller July 17, 1920, in Rossville. He died Feb. 23, 1980.

Survivors include two sisters, Margaret McCoid, Silver Lake, and Winifred Anderson, Tulsa, Okla.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Sneller will lie in state after noon today at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home where relatives and friends will meet from 7 until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
