Obituary- Snoddy, Elwood

ELWOOD H. SNODDY

DIES IN SILVER LAKE
Elwood H. Shoddy, 79, died Sunday evening at his home in Silver Lake.

Born April 26, 1876, in Jackson County, he had spent most of his life in the Maple Hill and Silver Lake communities. Mr. Snoddy was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Muncia of the home; and one daughter, Bonnie Jean; a son, Cliff of Valencia; two brothers, Frank and William Shoddy of Silver Lake; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Taber and Mrs. Nancy Standau, both of Topeka: and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday at Parker Mortuary with burial in Silver Lake Cemetery
