Obituary- Stach, Anna

Mrs. Stach Died in Kansas City
Mrs. Anna Stach, widow of John Stach, a resident of Jackson county since 1808, died Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the home of her son Louis Stach in Argentine, Kansas. Mrs. Stach had been an invalid for the past five years. During the last month she was unconscious except at intervals.
The deceased was a native of Czeche-Slovakia, where she was born January 6, 1838, at Cichov, Moravia. She came to America in 1861, locating near Newman, Kansas. She was united in marriage to John Stach shortly after her arrival at Leavenworth, Kan. In 1868 the family moved to Jackson county where Mrs. Stach remained until 1917, she went to live with her son Louis in Argentine. At the time of her death she was aged 88 years, 3 months and 26 days.
The body was brought to Rossville this morning and the funeral held in the Presbyterian church at 1 p.m. conducted by Rev. Pouker, a Lutheran minister from Kansas City. Interment was made in the family lot in Rossville cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John Ausherman, of Delia, Mrs. Frank Mongold, of Newman, and four sons, John Stach of Delia, Joe Stach, of Cactus, Ariz., Louis Stach, of Argentine, and Will Stach of Topeka; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Verla, of Temple, Texas, Mrs. Slacik, of Corning, Mo., and Mrs. Vernnika Kovar, of Rossville
