August L. Stach

Rossville, Kansas

Brother August L. Stach was born September 16, 1899 to Frank and Frances Smatla Stach and died June 7, 1989 at Veterans Hospi¬tal in Topeka. Funeral services were held at Delia Presbyterian Church, June 9, with interment at Czech Moravan Cemetery.
August married Lydia Penaz Scott, November 18, 1964. He was a farmer and served in the army in World War 2 and was a 50-year member of our lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Lydia; two brothers, Frank Stach and Bernie Stach, both of Rossville and nieces and nephews.
On behalf of Lodge No. 128 I extend sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.

Stach
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Presbyterian Church in Delia for August L. Stach, 89, Rossville. He died Wednesday, June 7, 1989, at a Topeka hospital.
Military graveside services were conducted by Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion in Czech-Moravan Cemetery northeast of Rossville.
Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys, was in charge of arrange¬ments.
Memorial contributions may be made to Delia Presbyterian Church or Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion in Rossville.
