Obituary- Stach, Frances
IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frances Smatla Stach was born in the village of Pozechov in Moravia, Czechoslovakia on January 5, 1875 and departed this life on June 15, 1951 at the age of 76 years, 5 months, and 10 days.
She arrived in this country at the age of 19 and was united in marriage to Frank Stach on November 16, 1897. On November 16, 1947 Mr. and Mrs. Stach celebrated their Golden Wed¬ding Anniversary.
To this union were born 3 children, August L. Stach of the home, Frank H. Stach, and Benjamin E. Stach of Rossville, Kansas. She is also survived by her husband, Frank Stach of Rossville and two brothers, Thomas Smatla of Silver Lake, Kansas and Paul Smatla of Moravia, Czechoslovakia. She also leaves 4 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of neighbors and friends.
She was a member of the Czech Presbyterian church located south of Delia, Kansas. Mrs. Stach was a lover of God’s gift of beauty in the form of flowers and her devotion to God and concern of her husband and family were always foremost in her daily life.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Delia Presbyterian church with the Rev. Ivan Rundus officiating. Music was furnished by Rev. and Mrs. Rundus, Milan Hejtmanek, Cecil Zlatnik [sic], with Evelyn Zlatnik [sic] accompanying at the piano.
Pallbearers were, Frank Hejtmanek [sic], Frank Matyak, Bennie Martinek, J.E. Badura, J.W. Olejnik [sic], Sr., and Ignac Horak [sic].
Burial was in the Moravian cemetery.
