Obituary- Stach, Frank

FRANK STACH, SR., Deceased
No. 230341 NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION FOR FINAL SETTLEMENT The Stale of Kansas to all Persons Concerned:
You are hereby notified that a petition has been filed in said court by August L. Stach, Frank H. Stach, Jr., and Benjamin E. Stach, executors of the Will of Frank Stach, Sr., deceased, praying for a final settlement of said estate, ap-proval of their acts, proceedings and accounts as executors; and also praying that the court determine the heirs, devisees and legatees entitled to the estate and the proportion or part thereof to which each is entitled, and distribute and assign the same to them in accord¬ance with the Will of Frank Stach, Sr., deceased; and you are hereby required to file your written defenses thereto on or before the 15th day of August, 1958, at 10:00 o’clock, A.M., on said day, in said court, in the City of Topeka, at which time and place said cause will be heard. Should you fail therein, judgment and decree will be entered in due course upon said petition.

FRANK STACH SR.
Frank Stach, Sr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Stach was born May 24, 1877 north of Rossville and de¬parted this life on August 14, 1957, at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 21 days. At the time of his death he resided at a location which was only a half mile from where he was born.
He was united in marriage to Frances Smatla on November 16, 1897. On November 16, 1947, Mr. and Mrs. Stach celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary. To this union were born three sons: August L. Stach, of the home, Frank H. Stach and Benjamin E. Stach of Rossville, Kansas. He also leaves five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of neighbors and friends. His wife preceded him in death on June 15, 1951.
In his early days he was an active member and elder of the Czech Presbyterian Church which was located north of Rossville. He also was a charter member of the ZCBJ Lodge No. 128.
Funeral services wore Sunday at the Rossville Presbyterian Church, Rev. Don Evans, minister. Mrs. Mary Jane Berkey was soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Lulu Hill. Pall¬bearers were Joe Frederick, John Kratina, Frank Matyak, Bennie Martinek, Ignac Horak, and Joe Badura. Burial was in Czech Mor¬avian Cemetery.

FRANK STACH DIES
Mr. Frank Stach Sr., 80, passed away last night at Stormont-Vail hospital in Topeka. Services will be Sunday afternoon at 2:30 pm at the Presbyterian Church. Hurley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
