Frank H. Stach
Frank H. Stach, 84, Rossville, died Tuesday, September 7, 1999, in rural Rossville, following a farm tractor accident.
He was born August 12, 1915, in rural Shawnee County, the son of Frank and Frances Smatla Stach. He was a lifelong resident and farmer in the Rossville and Delia communities.
Frank served in the United States Army in Italy and North Africa in the 91st Infantry DiviŽsion for three years during World War II. He was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church, ZCBJ Lodge #128 in Rossville, Philip Billard Post 1650 of the V.F.W., and the 91st InfanŽtry Association.
He married Winifred Decker November 14, 1943, in Corvallis, OR. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Virginia Meyer, Ross-ville; and a brother, Bennie Stach, Rossville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A daughŽter, Marilyn K. Schmitz, died NoŽvember 27, 1994.
His service was at 2 p.m. SatŽurday, at the Rossville United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Rossville Cemetery, under diŽrection of Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka.
