Frank H. Stach
Frank H. Stach, 84, Rossville, died Tuesday, September 7, 1999, in rural Rossville, following a farm tractor accident.
He was born August 12, 1915, in rural Shawnee County, the son of Frank and Frances Smatla Stach. He was a lifelong resident and farmer in the Rossville and Delia communities.
Frank served in the United States Army in Italy and North Africa in the 91st Infantry Divi¬sion for three years during World War II. He was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church, ZCBJ Lodge #128 in Rossville, Philip Billard Post 1650 of the V.F.W., and the 91st Infan¬try Association.
He married Winifred Decker November 14, 1943, in Corvallis, OR. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Virginia Meyer, Ross-ville; and a brother, Bennie Stach, Rossville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A daugh¬ter, Marilyn K. Schmitz, died No¬vember 27, 1994.
His service was at 2 p.m. Sat¬urday, at the Rossville United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Rossville Cemetery, under di¬rection of Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka.
