Anthony Vern Armstrong

Anthony Vern Armstrong, 12, Rossville, died Thursday Aug. 29, 1996 at a Topeka hospital.
He was born Oct. 26, 1983 at Stillwater, Okla. He had lived at Rossville the past 10 years and attended school in Rossville, where he was a member of the junior high school football team.
Armstrong was also a member of Rossville Christian Church and the Rossville Little League Baseball team.
Survivors include his parents, Phil D. and Jaimi C. Armstrong Olson, Rossville; a brother, Philip Olson, Rossville; three sisters, Jennell Olson, Phoenix; Tiffany Irwin, and Kristen Olson, both of Rossville; Paternal grandparents, Darryl and Margie Olson, Rossville; Maternal grandparents, Anita Armstrong, Rossville and Vern and Cynthia Armstrong, Rossville; paternal great-grandparent, Tina Ortega, Phoenix, AZ.; Maternal great-grandparents, Erma Gail Riley, Holton and Janet Marx, Rossville.
Services were held Monday, September 2, 1996, at the Rossville Christian Church. Burial was at Rossville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shawnee County Fire District No. 3, Rossville, 66533, or to the Topeka Allergy and Asthma Clinic, 1123 S.W. Gage Blvd., Topeka, 66604.
