Lydia M. Stach
ROSSVILLE — Lydia Mildred Stach, 80, Rossville, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 1994, at her home.
She was born Aug. 13, 1913, in Delia, the daughter of Joseph and Rosa Kratina Penaz. She was gradu¬ated from Delia High School and at¬tended Brown-Mackie College in Salina.
Mrs. Stach had been a teacher and worked at Camp Phillips Air Force Base in Salina. She worked for Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Co., in Manhattan several years.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Delia, United Presbyterian Women, the auxiliary to Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion in Rossville, and Loyal Chapter No. 178, Order of Eastern Star, in Silver Lake. She had been a volunteer for Rossville Senior Citizens.
She was married to August L. Stach Nov. 18, 1964, in Manhattan. He died June 7. 1989.
Nieces, nephews and cousin survive.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church in Delia. Burial will be in Czech-Moravian Cemetery northeast of Rossville. Mrs. Stach will lie in state after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Stach will lie in state after [ ] a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Lydia Mildred Stach, 80, of Rossville, died Saturday, Jan. 8, at her home. She was born Aug. 13, 1913 in Delia, and graduated from high school there. Mrs. Stach worked for many years for Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company in Manhattan.
She was a member of Delia Presbyterian Church, the United Presbyterian Women’s Organization, the Auxiliary to the Jimmie Lillard American Legion Post 31 of Rossville, the Loyal Chapter 178 of the Order of the Eastern Star of Silver Lake, and the Rossville senior citizens organi¬zation.
Mrs. Stach was married Nov. 18, 1964 to August L. Stach; he pre¬ceded her in death June 7, 1989. Nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Delia Presbyterian Church with Rev. Donald C. Close and Rev. Alice Monschke officiating. Burial will be in the Czech Moravian Cemetery in Rossville.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortu-ary in Topeka, where the family will receive visitors from 7 to 8 p.m.
