Obituary- Stach, Martin
Martin Stach, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Stach, Sr., was born Dec. 7, 1838 in the village of Pozdecho in the district of Vizovice in Moravia and departed this life June 19, 1916.
At the time of his death he resided north of Rossville.
He was married to Mary Batosovo in Pozechov, Moravia, Czechoslovakia. After he was released from the army and the war with Prussia was over, Martin Stach, his wife and one daughter came to the U.S.A. and landed in Baltimore, on July 21, 1870. Later they settled on a farm in Rossville, Kansas.
His wife preceded him in death on May 12, 1901. In 1902 he was married to Anna Olejinek.
He is survived by his wife, Anna, two daughters; Mary Bravence of Rossville, Tressie Koci of Auburn, Kans.; and a son Frank Stach of Rossville, Kans.
Services were conducted by Conwell Funeral Home and burial was in the Czech Moravian cemetery, north of Rossville, Kansas.
