Nicholas “Nick” Stadler
Nicholas “Nick” Stadler, 81, passed away Wednesday May 2,
2012. Born in Rossville, Kansas, on January 23,1931, he was the second youngest of 15 children born to German immigrants Barbara (Walters) and Nicholas Stadler. Nick retired in 1989 after 32 years of working in freight inspection with Santa Fe Railway. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Patricia "Pat" (Gamba); daughters Carol (Dave) Waters, Janet (Danny) Daniels, Angie (Mike) Holladay, and Diane (Mark) Becker; 6 grandchildren, & 2 great grandchildren. Rosary will be Friday, May 4 at 6 p.m. and the Funeral Mass will be Saturday, May 5 at 10 a.m., both at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3800 E Douglas, Wichita, Kansas. A memorial has been established to benefit the St. Katherine Drexel Catholic School Fund, 424 North Broadway, Wichita, Kansas, 67202. Downing & Lahey Mortuary East.
