GEORGE E. STEFFEE
George Frank Steffee, 90, a resident of Rossville the past 74 years, died at a Topeka hospital Tuesday. He was a retired farmer.

He was born at Gilmore, Iowa, October 6, 1867. He was a member of the Rossville Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Amy Meade, Rossville; and Florence Parr, Topeka; two sons, William Steffee, Auburn; and Frank Steffee, Jefferson, Okla., 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Friday,
2 pm in the Methodist Church.

FRANK STEFFEE
George Frank Steffee was born in Gilmore, Ohio, in the year 1867. He passed away January 8, 1958, at the age of 90 years, 3 months and 2 days.

Mr. Steffee came to Kansas at the age of 16, settling in the Dover and Willard community, where he was engaged in farming until about 33 years ago when he retired and moved to Rossville.

Mr. Steffee was married to Candace Ellen Ryan on December 5, 1888. Mrs. Steffee preceded him in death on October 8, 1956.

He is survived by: two sons, Frank Steffee, Oklahoma; Will Steffee, Auburn, Kansas; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Parr, Topeka, and Mrs. Amy Meade, Rossville; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grand; children and one great-great-grandchild.

Out of town relatives who were here for the funeral of Mr. Frank Steffee included Mr. and Mrs. Chester Steffee, Wichita; Mr. Frank Steffee, Jefferson City; Mr. and Mrs. Will Steffee, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Blatt, Auburn; Mrs. Florence Parr, Mr. Nathaniel Parr, Darrel and Marlin, Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Richadson, Mrs. Minnie Atchison, Mrs. Betty Bringle, Mrs. Marvin Hansford, Topeka; Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Meade and children, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Meade Jr., Topeka; Mr. Glen Parr, Onaga.
